This speech is Project 4 “How to Say It” from Basic Communicator Manual. The objectives of this speech are:

• Select a speech topic and determine its general and specific purposes.
• Organize the speech in a manner that best achieves those purposes.
• Ensure the begining, body and conclusion reinforce the purposes.
• Project sincerity and conviction and control any nervousness you may feel.
• Strive not to use notes.

The timing for the presentation is 5-7 mins.

I was quite satisfied with this speech, partly because I was a big fan of Steven Job, and partly this speech was based on my favorite book “iCon”. Probably there was one thing I got to be more cautious on this speech was that I should avoid religion in the speech, as pointed out by Shenton.

This speech was presented in the CCK TMC Chapter Meeting. The evaluator was Ng Kwee Choo.

Project 3 “Get To The Point” (5 to 7 mins) requires the speaker to:

所谓一命，二运，三风水，四积阴德，五读书，这句老话是众所皆知的。但“意志力”能不能改变一个人的“命运”呢？又或者，冥冥中，一切早有因果，半点不由人。
