This speech is Project 4 “How to Say It” from Basic Communicator Manual. The objectives of this speech are:

• Select the right words and sentence structure to communicate your ideas clearly, accurately and vividly.
• Use rhetorical devices to enhance and emphasize ideas.
• Eliminate jargon and unnecessary words. Use correct grammar.

The timing for the presentation is 5-7 mins.

There are two reasons for choosing this speech topic. First, I always admire true entrepreneurs. Second, I thought using more flowering language or slogan would be appropriate for this speech. I guessed the second reason was not quite true. Now I think it is better to use words or phrases that audience could remember.

Project 4 “How to Say It” (5 to 7 mins) requires the speaker to:

- select the right words and sentence structure to communicate his ideas clearly, accurately and vividly.
- use rhetorical devices to enhance and emphasize ideas.
- eliminate jargon, unnecessary words and use correct grammar.

现代人，什么都讲求–快！连男女之间的追逐发展，也要求速成。我们爸妈时代的那一套爱情观，已经过时了。现在流行的是“不在乎天长地久，只在乎曾经拥有”。突然间想起，香港歌手许冠杰的一首老歌“追求三部曲”的歌词，心里不禁发出会心的微笑。。。
